About the home

What it is like to stay here

Four bedrooms, room for ten, and a big fenced backyard, ten minutes from the Metra and twenty-five from Oak Brook. Everything is already here: furniture, linens, a full kitchen, laundry, fast Wi-Fi, and a dry sauna in the basement.

The Ann St. Ranch is a single-level home in the middle of Clarendon Hills, set up specifically for people who need somewhere real to live for a month or several — a relocation that has not found its permanent address yet, an insurance claim, a work assignment, a renovation that ran long.

It is a proper house rather than a serviced apartment. The kitchen has full-size appliances and everything you need to actually cook. There is a family room to spread out in, a separate study with a desk for working from home, and a laundry room so you are not hunting for quarters. Four bedrooms sleep up to ten comfortably, and because it is a ranch, it is all on one floor.

Made for longer stays

Utilities, trash, lawn care, and high-speed Wi-Fi are already on and included in the monthly rate. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dishes, the beds are made, and the bathrooms have towels and enough toiletries to get you through the first night without a shopping trip.

The small luxuries

A dry sauna in the basement. Smart TVs in three rooms that sign you out of your streaming accounts automatically on your move-out day. Keyless entry, so there is no key to collect or lose. A backyard with a patio that is genuinely big enough for kids, dogs, and a grill.

The area

Clarendon Hills, IL

Clarendon Hills is a small village in Chicago's western suburbs — about 8,500 people, a walkable downtown, and tree-lined streets. It sits between Hinsdale and Westmont, which puts an unusual amount within a short drive.

The Metra BNSF line runs express trains from the village station into Union Station, which makes commuting downtown straightforward without a car. Oak Brook, Downers Grove, and Naperville are all close for work, and both I-294 and I-88 are a few minutes out.

Families ask about schools: Clarendon Hills is served by Community Consolidated School District 181 and Hinsdale Township High School District 86. Ann St itself is residential and quiet — the kind of street where the loudest thing on a weekday is a lawnmower.

Questions

Good to know

What is the shortest stay you take?

One month. The home is set up for stays measured in months rather than nights, which is why the rate is monthly and utilities are included.

Is everything really included in the monthly rate?

Yes — electricity, gas, water, sewer, trash, high-speed Wi-Fi, and lawn care. There is a one-time cleaning fee and a refundable security deposit on top of the monthly rate, both shown in your quote before you commit.

Is the house actually furnished?

Fully. Furniture in every room, beds made with linens, towels in the bathrooms, and a kitchen with cookware, dishes, and full-size appliances. Bring your clothes and your laptop.

How does check-in work?

Keyless — we send you a door code before you arrive, so there is no key handover to coordinate and nothing to lose.

Will you work with a relocation company or an insurance carrier?

Often, yes. Mention the company on your request and we will send the quote and paperwork in whatever format they need.

Does sending a request book the house?

No. A request is free and does not reserve anything. We check the dates, send you a firm quote, and only then does a signed rental agreement make it a booking.

Policies

House rules

  • No smoking anywhere inside the house.
  • No parties or events.
  • Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am, out of respect for the neighbours.
  • The basement sauna is dry-use only — never pour water or oils on the heater. No one under 18 unsupervised.
  • Trash and recycling go to the curb on Monday night for Tuesday morning collection.
  • Please keep the patio furniture covered when it is not in use.

Cancellations

Mid-term stays are booked under a signed rental agreement, and the cancellation terms live in that agreement rather than here. In general: tell us as early as you can and we will work with you. Notice of 30 days or more before arrival is straightforward to accommodate; closer than that depends on whether we can re-let the dates.

We will always put the specific terms in writing in your quote before you commit to anything.

Ready to talk about your dates?

Tell us when you need a home and how long for. We will confirm availability and send you a straightforward quote.
